Clinic Policies & Terms of Service
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of aesthetic and medical services, refunds are not provided for change of mind, subjective dissatisfaction, treatment outcomes, perceived asymmetry, healing variability or unused portions of treatment.
Retail products may only be exchanged or refunded where required under Australian Consumer Law or where deemed appropriate at clinic discretion.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Deposits & Appointment Policy
A $50 booking fee is payable to reserve appointment times when booking skin treatments.
A $100 booking fee is payable to reserve appointment times when booking medical aesthetic treatments and cosmetic tattooing treatments.
The full value of the deposit will be redeemable toward the booked treatment or service.
All appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time to allow adequate opportunity for reallocation.
Where an appointment is cancelled, rescheduled or unattended within 48 hours, Bonsai Aesthetics reserves the right to retain the booking deposit or charge a cancellation fee of:
- $50 for skin treatment appointments
- $100 for medical aesthetic and cosmetic tattoo appointments
Where treatments have been prepaid, the prepaid treatment value may be forfeited for cancellations, rescheduling or non-attendance within the cancellation period.
Clients arriving late may have appointment times shortened, modified or rescheduled where clinically or operationally necessary. Cancellation fees may still apply where insufficient treatment time remains.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete any required paperwork and preparation.
Dermal Filler & Hyaluronic Acid Treatments
Dermal filler outcomes vary between individuals and are influenced by anatomy, metabolism, healing response and treatment goals.
While every effort is made to achieve an optimal aesthetic result, symmetry and specific cosmetic outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Additional product or treatment sessions may be required to achieve or maintain desired results and will be charged accordingly.
No complimentary top-up treatments are provided. Any further treatment requested or clinically indicated will incur additional charges.
Dissolving treatment is not complimentary except where clinically required in the management of an emergency complication, including but not limited to vascular occlusion.
Botulinum Toxin Treatments
Treatment outcomes vary between individuals depending on anatomy, muscle strength, metabolism and biological response.
While treatment aims are discussed during consultation, no guarantee of a specific aesthetic result can be made.
Any additional treatment requested following treatment will be charged according to the amount of product administered unless otherwise clinically determined by the treating practitioner.

Bonsai Aesthetics does not provide emergency medical services. If severe symptoms, visual disturbance, signs of infection or urgent medical concerns occur, patients should seek immediate medical attention or contact emergency services.
Treatment Longevity
Treatment duration, longevity and maintenance requirements vary significantly between individuals.
Factors including metabolism, anatomy, lifestyle, medical history, hormones, exercise, smoking, sun exposure and biological response may influence treatment longevity.
No guarantee is provided regarding treatment duration, maintenance intervals or longevity of outcomes.
Cosmetic Tattooing
Cosmetic tattooing results vary between individuals due to factors including skin type, healing response, lifestyle, sun exposure, medications, aftercare compliance and pigment retention.
Oily skin, scar tissue, previous tattooing and certain skin conditions may affect healing and longevity and may require additional treatments.
While every effort is made to achieve the best possible cosmetic outcome, results, colour retention and symmetry cannot be guaranteed.
An initial touch-up appointment within the practitioner’s recommended timeframe is strongly advised for optimal results. Treatments completed outside of the recommended timeframe may incur additional fees.
Touch-up pricing may differ depending on the amount of time elapsed since the original treatment and whether previous cosmetic tattooing has been performed elsewhere.
No refunds will be provided where outcomes are affected by individual healing response, aftercare compliance, skin characteristics or subjective aesthetic preference.
